Meet Your Advisors

Katie has been advising students for nearly 5 years. Working with a variety of students and their goals, Katie is passionate about helping high school students save money efficiently and save real time by taking coursework relevant to their future goals. Pursuing college credit during high school can be complicated. Katie is an expert at helping students prioritize their high school extracurriculars while also discovering an authentic college experience.
An Idaho transplant, Katie loves the outdoors. She’s an avid runner, reader, and people-person. When she’s not working with high school students, you’ll likely find her wrangling her three young children or eating sushi with her husband.
Maristine has a passion for all things education! Helping students achieve their goals and finding joy in their learning is her utmost priority. "Seek first to understand, then to be understood", is a quote Maristine lives by. Maristine seeks to understand students to help them succeed and progress toward a brighter future. Attending both high school and college comes with challenges, but no challenge is too big to tackle. Throughout your advising experience, Maristine will stick by your side, guide you through important information, and help you achieve greatness!
When Maristine isn't at CEI, she usually can be found baking something new for her Husband, playing "Just Dance", or writing music. She loves anything and everything creative! Next time you see her, give her suggestions of fun things to do in Idaho (she just moved here from Oregon)!
